Since the fall of mankind was ushered in by Adam and Eve, humanity has been a disappointment. It didn't take long for sin to secure a vice grip on the hearts of humans. People naturally began to commit acts that were against God's desire for mankind. One act that captures the brokenness of the human condition was Cain killing his own brother Abel, because God blessed Abel's offering over his. This was the first, but not the last act of self-satisfying sin. The Supreme Court Ruling...

The Supreme Court ruled in favor of same-sex marriage in all 50 states. This ruling has been a left hook to those who follow God via scripture and their personal convictions. Shortly after the ruling, the church has responded. Here is a snippet to "Here We Stand: An Evangelical Declaration on Marriage." As evangelical Christians, we dissent from the court’s ruling that redefines marriage. The state did not create the family, and should not try to recreate the family in its own image.
